A better way to match clients and therapists.
WellMatched is a matching service, not a directory.
There are no public profiles and no searching.
Instead, we match clients individually using:
a detailed internal therapist profile
client goals and preferences
identity-informed considerations
a data-informed matching algorithm
licensed clinician review
Therapists stay fully independent: your fees, schedule, documentation, and clinical decisions remain 100% yours.
How It Works
1. Apply
Submit an application that covers your licensure, specialties, modalities, identity-informed competencies, and the clients you work best with. If accepted, this information will become your internal profile in our matching system.
4. Receive match notifications
When a strong match is identified, you’ll receive a short, non-identifying overview explaining why you were matched.
You only take action if the client contacts you.
2. We review
We review applications for clinical fit, professionalism, and balanced representation across specialties and identities. Participation is free, and applying does not guarantee acceptance.
5. Stay fully independent
Your practice remains entirely yours.
You set your fees, choose your scheduling method, manage your own documentation, and maintain your own clinical decision-making.
3. Upload a short intro video (if accepted)
If your application is approved, you’ll receive a link to upload a simple 60–90 second introductory video.
This video is private and is only shared with clients who are matched with you.

We curate based on clinical fit, professionalism, and diversity across specialties and identities. We don’t cap the cohort arbitrarily, but not every applicant will be accepted.
